I think I’ve begun to kid myself into thinking that the world cares what I think.  And so I post.

I’m fascinated by the way technology has enabled us to connect to more
and more people.  I like that.  People need community, and
relationships; some say the best way to understand yourself is to try
and understand others, especially those seemingly unlike
yourself.  The lyrics “There is joy in diversity” echo in my head
(thank you DC Talk). 

However, do we run the risk of spreading ourselves too thin when we try
to maintain contact with every person we’ve ever known?  Do some
relationships suffer from lack of time and devotion, the root of which
is our desparate attempts to maintain too many relationships? 

It’s something to think about.  When do you let go?
